About YSPA
Who are we
YSPA – the Young Security Professional Academy – is a mission-driven collective of industry leaders, educators, and mentors working to reimagine the pathway into corporate security.
We exist to empower young professionals and career changers with the mindset, skills, and networks needed to thrive in today’s complex risk environment.
Founded by senior security practitioners with decades of experience in global organizations, YSPA was created to fill the gap between academic theory and industry practice — and to build a more diverse, innovative, and resilient generation of security leaders.
We operate at the intersection of: Academia (co-developing programs with universities); Industry – partnering with companies and CSOs to host live experiences and Innovation – accelerating ideas and solutions from emerging professionals.
YSPA is a movement for those who believe the future of security leadership should be inclusive, intelligent, and inspired.
The Academy
The YSPA Academy is an intensive 1.5-day program for early-career or transitioning security professionals with 1–7 years of experience.
Led by a seasoned CSO and hosted by leading global companies, the Academy blends hands-on workshops with peer-to-peer conversations in a focused, real-world environment.
Participants work through actual security case studies, receive expert guidance on navigating challenges, and build lasting relationships across generations of professionals.
Our mission: Create a safe, supportive space for rising talent to learn, grow, and connect — beyond titles or job levels.
With a strong emphasis on community, mentorship, and practical insight, the Academy is designed to give participants both clarity and confidence as they shape their security careers.

✔️ A live war-gaming crisis simulation to pressure-test leadership in action
As always, YSPA emains an intentionally small, curated gathering. We’re not just running an ‘event’ — we’re cultivating a trusted community where every voice matters and everyone leaves feeling connected, seen, and empowered.
